<p>Both of them went to UCLA when it was easier to get into. My dad then went to UCSD for Medical School and my mom went to University of San Diego for law school.</p>

<p>Dad went into the highway patrol after high school and my mom (she’s american, but both parents Cuban) got her MD in the Dominican Republic, then came back to the US to practice.</p>
<p>Mom went to community college for a bit, dad got his bachelors and masters at Virginia Tech.</p>
<p>My mom and dad both didnt go to college at all. I remember my mom saying she stopped learning at 10th grade or something…</p>
