<p>I am imagining things, but did a couple of posts by someone named LelandStanford disappear from this board? He was the half-Japanese fella whose mother wanted to move to Alaska in order to improve his chances of getting into Stanford. I also recall a post of his asking how schools verify race.</p>

<p>Sacrificed at the alter of Political Correctness, perhaps? Race is a touchy subject here at CC, especially for those students who don’t fit the convenient racial labels provided on college applications.</p>
