My son can finally access MyNova. Where can he find out if his application is complete or will he have to wait until 12/5? It seems like some people knew what was missing on their applications. Thanks for the help.

Once you log onto myNova, on the left hand side, there should be a checklist of about 6 items that the university has or has not recieved. These items include such things as a transcipt, SAT scores, supplemental essay, etc. Hope this helps

Thank you! Yesterday, there was nothing there. Today it says this…

<p class=“MsoPlainText” style=“margin: 0in 0in 0pt”>Confirmation of receipt of any documents on the Checklist will be official as of December 5, 2009, when all Early Action applications and credentials have been processed. As long as a Common Application with the Villanova Supplement was submitted by November 1, your application will be reviewed under Early Action.

I know they recieved his application by Nov. 1. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that everything else arrived and will find out on by 12/5.

ssmom62, I have the same message. I wonder if there is something is wrong, because it seems like most people have an actual checklist. On my main myNova screen, a link to my checklist (and the message mentioned above) appears under the “Personal Announcements” tab. Under the “Admissions Checklist” tab, it says “External System ID not found.”

Don’t worry, it eventually fixes itself. When I first logged on, it was like that, but within a few days everything on the site was up and running!

I still don’t have a mynova account… how did you guys get your login info? I got a letter the other day saying we should check our portals and make sure all info is correct… but I have never received anything about how to set-up or login to my account.

I also am wondering how to create the mynova account. I’ve tried to register and have not received a way to access it yet. I am very uncomfortable that my counselor forgot to send something and I would like to make sure.

Call up Villanova admissions and they will give you the info for setting up a portal account with password. Apparently the email that was send had a lot of nice graphics but a lot of people’s email accounts bounced it back to Villanova as undeliverable. My DS’s had it bounced back 5 times so he called and admissions deleted the graphics and sent it. Ds followed the instructions and it sent up fine. So if you haven’t gotten the email, just call admissions. You should have received the yellow sheet giving you your villanova i.d. too.

I just got the code to set up my account, and all it asked me for was to create my password. But what’s my user name??? The website says your email, but for some reason this is not working for me.

do i enter it as…

myemail@hotmail.com with my password

or

myemail with my password

right now neither is working :-//

I got an invitation to set up my MyNova account and I did that. When I logged in, however, I didn’t see any checklist. All I see in the top left hand corner is MyAccount and ContentLayout…How do I check the status of my application??
