Do you think you would get a better job with a bachelors from USC or Wharton? USC has a great network, but Wharton is WHARTON. Ultimately, I think the difference would be little, yet substantial between the two, but a Wharton undergrad would most likely have an edge.

I think this route may not be bad if you just wanna go undergrad and not grad as Im thinking about. I dunno though. Its just a thought. I love USC and will probably jus stay there. Its still a top 10 school for undergrad business

Wharton definitely has a big edge on Marshall. The Wharton name is known throughout the business world and will open a lot of doors. Plus their business network is probably the strongest of any school in the nation. Yeah, we have the advantage if you want to work in CA, but anywhere else Wharton has a considerable edge.

But hey they don't have a championship football team! :D

yea i didn wanna come across that way. im not ungrateful at all. I am still THRILLED and enthusiastic about going to USC!! Like i said, it was just a thought and i probably wont do it. This stemmed from my change from premed to business over the the course of the last 3 months and the more I have investigated into business programs and career prospects and stuff, the more I have been thinking about that school. I have been considering this mainly because I have always assumed that I was gonna go to grad school (whether premed or business) and being introduced to the fact that such a powerful undergrad business degree would be equivalent to many mba's. It was just a thought. I was thinking out loud more or less

I'm going to have to disagree with some previous posts about business studies not being very applicable. Yes, much of it is grounded in theory but merely that - grounded. Then one applies it. A friend interning for UBS spent his entire day yesterday calculating betas (BUAD 306). Right now, at my internship, I'm procrastinating some variance analyses (250b) by writing this. Also, I can hear the guy in the cubicle next to mine on the phone mentioning a balanced scorecard (again 250b). Just some observations.

To answer the original question, I hope my Marshall BS will help me get my Marshall MBA.
