I just got accepted to Ithaca College and was wondering, just out of curiosity, where does Ithaca rank in terms of best colleges in the US? Is it in the top 50, top 100, top 200, top 300, etc.

Thanks!

you got ur letter already? I didn't...

Yup, I just got it in the mail today :)

wait...so mine should be runs toward the mailbox

I think it depends on what u applied to. Then again im not sure, cuz i heard music was really good

Yeah, I applied to Humanities and Sciences. But, really, does anyone know its ranking?

According to U.S. News 2006: Ithaca ranks 7th in the "Best Universities-Masters" criteria.

Yeah, I read that...but it didn't help me much in placing its ranking amongst undergrad LAC's

Ithaca's not listed on the US News report among LACs, but it is listed as one of the "Best in the Northeast" and "Best Value" colleges in Princeton Review.

I got my acceptance letter to the H&S program in January. They have "modified rolling admissions" so it depends on many factors (when you applied, how far up you are in the acceptance pile, etc) when you'll actually get a letter.

its not listed among LACs because its not an LAC

It's not an LAC? o_0 Then what is it?

Who cares how its ranked? If its right for you than its number one. The US News & World Report rankings are bull**** anyway.
