Where is everyone in their AP Bio class?

we're so far behind in bio i don't even want to think about it.
its almost a blow off class...grrr

im going to be doing alot of independent studying to pass this test.

we are studying chp. 12 in campbells right now.

we have already done chapters 2-11, 39, and 45.

ricedoutracer- I am in the same situation..maybe we can work together and study towards the end lol..I really want a 5..but my class sucks.

We're on evolution. We covered:
Inorganic/Organic Chem, Cell/Cell Transport, Cell Division, Mendelian/Human Genetics, Protein Synthesis, DNA Replication, Cellular Respiration, Photosynthesis, Gene Regulation

We've done 7/12 ap labs.

just finished ch 13 genetics in campbell

Just finished Ch. 10 in Campbell, can anyone tell me how far behind my class is? And what I would need to self study (last 20 or so chapters of Campbell) to get ready for AP class? And SAT II? And how should I prepare for Free response?? My teacher is new..she doesnt know...thanks!!

Id estimate that our class has done about 20 chapters in the book so far, but we are all over the place. Right now we are learning about prokaryotes/bacteria and that type of stuff.

Yea, I'm with Tjan, my class has done about 20 chapters so far. We did 5 over the summer, with a quick review and test the first few days, and have been flying through ever since.

Wow... I think you guys are kinda behind, unless our books are ordered differently. Just finished genetics of viruses/bacteria, and gene expression.

Finished photosynthesis, cell respiration, cell signals, mitsosis/meiosis, mendel & genetics, protein synthesis and DNA replication.

Are you talking to me? Maybe I've done more than 20 chapters than.. I don't know, I've done every topic you just listed..

Just finished chap 19-21 in Campbell/Reece. Now starting Darwinian evolution.

I think that we are also moving a little fast. We're on pace to finish the book in mid-March.

We just finished genetics, and we're on our week-long thanksgiving break.
I don't remember what she said we'll be studying when we get back

Test on 14/ 15 monday we get back... 16/17 that friday. We're a little behind because we had some trouble with the last lab and had to redo, class data was skewed.

We have a massive class too, so it's tough to get everything done on time.

Hahaha we are probably the most behind...just finished photosynthesis...anyone behind us??

We just finished Ch. 9 (Cellular Respiration) in Campbell and are beginning Ch. 10 on Monday. My teacher is excellent (one of the best I've ever had) and explains things extremely well; however, I am definately worried that we are not moving fast enough. March/April is going to be a royal pain.

^Haha, we are the same then. Maybe we can study together later on. Are you taking the USABO Exam?

^^I don't think so...at least my teacher/school hasn't mentioned anything about it.

Haha... I'll bet there isn't anyone behind our class.
Chapter 12 in Campell, but we skipped 8-10... I have no idea why.

My class just started on chapter 7. And we haven't even started our first lab yet. -_-

i think we're a bit behind...we just finished chap 17 from campbell's (protein synthesis)

oh and, my teacher decided to skip chap 18 and i think she's skipping a bunch more too...should i study these on my own or will they not appear on the ap test?
