i have to agree that your GPA is low, but if it is rising that’s great.

definitely apply anywhere you want. i think jhu, berkeley, northwestern, cornell, wustl, vandi, maybe georgetown are perfect matches for you. you have an excellent shot of getting into hyps as well.

That is a link to some of the top biology programs. I really think you could get in anywhere you want. Your SAT, ACT, and EC’s are great. Your GPA might be a little low for some of the Ivies but you never know. Good luck!

@sameer1 if you don’t mind me asking, do you think any ivies would be possible? If so, which ones? I know it’s not imperative to go Ivy but I’d like to know if there’s any chance.

You will have decent chance at ivies like penn Dartmouth Cornell brown and other similar schools. Hyp might be a little tougher but it’s worth a shot

I’d say looking at Ivies you will get into 1 with those projected scores and the rising GPA along with your hook. Any other school downward will be a very good shot at so you shouldn’t have to worry

I have taken the PSAT and I get my scores back tomorrow! Last year I took a practice ACT with no studying and got the equivalent of a 31/32 (2070-2130) so I think with a year more knowledge and studying, I got at least a 210-215 on my PSAT. Fingers crossed! As for service, it will be over all 4 years, but the req’d is only 80 hrs
