I know it's bad but what can I do to improve?

Have you done any college searches for schools with good chemistry/biochemistry programs but where you’d have a decent chance of admission? I know nothing about your intended major and which schools are good, but there ARE tools that you can use to help you find such schools.

If you can raise your SAT/ACT, your chances at top schools will improve…but you surely knew that it takes fantastic scores (and lots more) to get admission from those places. Look into less-selective schools with good programs, though, so you have a wide range of colleges for your list.

Good luck wherever you land!

SUNY Stonybrook comes to mind. Definitely worth taking a look at.

What can you afford?

State of residency and cost constraints are important in determining which schools to look at.

You may want to consider taking the ACT, since some students do much better on the ACT than the SAT (or vice-versa).
