I dont know anyone that goes to Cal. So I really need advice on the nice places to live. Is transfer housing nice?

Also, I applied to Cal as a psy major. But I want to change to the college of Natural Resources so I can be a nutrition major. I've called Cal and they say its impossible. Should I go to the Cal and chance not getting into my major? Does anyone have experience with trying to change colleges once your at Cal?

dorms are expensive. only worth it if you want the "experience" but not really.

i'm getting an apartment. hopefully it will be within 5 minutes walking distance to ucberkeley, but theres a chance we'll get one near Ashby Bart or somewhere.

Let me know if your interested. Right now it looks like it'll be $600 for a single, $350 if you want to double.

thanks, ill have to look into those apts. Do you know anything about the co-ops?

i've done research, but dont know first hand. it seems like a mix of dorm/frat houses.

some are really crazy (the bigger ones) with really crazy party stories.

some are really quiet and studious (the smaller ones).

get your application in early. spots seem to fill up quick.

really cheap. like 700 for your own room and food for the month.

that sounds like a pretty good price..ohh what to do?!
what year are you?
