Bice would be your best bet. Closest of the upperclassmen on-grounds housing to e-school.

Take a look at Hereford and the adjacent residence halls. Some people don’t like them, but they do have many singles and they are not far from the e school, and there is a dining hall there.

If you want to live off-ground, there is plenty of housing along the JP Av corridor that is close to the E school.

I was e-school and lived in Lambeth and found it easy to get to either via walking or bus. The bus was scheduled and pretty on-time and walking was a nice 15min stroll through Central Grounds, which was really nice on good-weather days and a great source of daily exercise. The nice thing about Lambeth was that it was predominantly second years with a few third years thrown in here and there, so it was easy to make friends of every type (e-school/College, partiers/non-partiers, etc).

I was wondering if the students usually start some type of facebook group, similar to last Spring for incoming first years, looking for an additional person to fill either on-grounds or off-grounds upperclass housing?

Besides asking around, how does a student find roommates for next year?

The student facebook groups (such as Class of 2015) often have posts by people looking for a roommate or looking for someone to take their place in a housing unit, etc.

I remember looking on a forum, it was either on-grounds or off-grounds or something like that. Facebook was a little less…robust…back then so it wasn’t used as much, but I imagine the groups would be a good place to look. There were lots of openings the spring before every year, especially when folks found out they could study abroad
