Where should she apply?

brainz1 - I glanced over your post and am just mentioning this, in case, down the road, it could have some sort of impact on your children’s decisions.

I was in Houston this past weekend, and my nephew is a physician at the medical center. He graduated Baylor Medical school three years ago (went to A&M undergrad). Anyway, he was telling me about some sort of merger being proposed for Rice and Baylor Medical College of Medicine that he believes will happen within the next few years.

I found a link for you, just so that you are not caught unaware if you hear anything.

Yes, I’m sorry, I was already thinking about my next post about Baylor/Rice and didn’t check myself.

Pitt also has an agreement with Carnegie Melon, which doesn’t seem to be advertised. My daughter was treated wonderfully by the faculty members she visited with at Pitt in the Japanese and physics departments. She had set up appointments. She ended up spending three hours in the physics department. For a larger, city university, it has a very friendly feel.
