Hi all,
So this is a transfer admission question ! I am currently as sophomore at a well regarded North Carolina university (accounting major ), so my question is where to apply for transfer. When fall grades come in i should have around a 3.8- 3.9 (somewhere in that range)
so what are some universities that i could apply to with this. I have good EC’s( debate team, varsity ski team, improv, etc…) and good letters so where should i apply to transfer !!! there are thousands of options but with this GPA is there any that fit this Range. I would appreciate some input a bunch of good schools out there but hopefully this will give me a rough idea of where to apply.
Thanks in advance,
PS: i didn’t include much high school stuff seems redundant, because i am applying as a junior. But i was an above average student took AP’s so on and so forth.
Have you tried the Super Match College Search option on this website?
Also, it would be easier for us to suggest a school if you can tell us some of the factors you are looking for in a school (e.g. do you like large student population or small student population, public or private, oos or in-state, etc?)
For California specifically, USC, CSUF, SDSU, SCU, or USD are popular options for accounting. You can also see a list of schools that have accredited accounting programs here to help you with your search: https://www.aacsb.net/eweb/DynamicPage.aspx?Site=AACSB&WebKey=4BA8CA9A-7CE1-4E7A-9863-2F3D02F27D23
i would like mid size population, so anywhere from 5 - 25 thousand is acceptable. I prefer private. I would just like a good school like Georgetown or Vanderbilt i know that they are opposite campus cultures and environments but the main draw to me for a school is the pedigree of the school. I would like to go to a good grad school, so i hope this transfer will make that more attainable.
