Hey guys, so i moved from connecticut to texas the summer before my senior year in hs. i had looked at a bunch of colleges in new england and had my heart set on one from the moment i saw it. now being out in texas i have looked at some schools here which are alright. ive pretty much narrowed it down to one school here and the heart set one so heres my delema. i am from a big family and we have never been what you would call rich, although with my dads new job from this past spring i dont think i will qualify for financial aid. also, i am one of six kids and my family is very close so i am worried about being homesick. the school in new england is about ten thousand more plus air fare and whatever else i may need. i dont know if i should stay here and settle for this school or if i should follow my heart and go back out to new england. also, i have tons of friends and family there so its not like im going to be totaly alone and ive been applying for tons of scholarships. my parents support me either way but they are just nervous about the cost. any suggestions??

willing to let us know the schools? ;)

Without knowing though, I'd say if you get decent aid, go to the NE one. Part of college is learning how to let go of your family and head into the real world. But if that option truly puts you in a financial bind, I'd go with the TX one.

Keene State in New Hampshire and Texas State University =) Thanks!

never heard of keene state, and don't know much about Tx State. So what I said still applies. :D
