I'm going to be a senior and I'll be self studying AP Psychology and potentially AP Physics C for next year. Since I have to send the app before taking the exams, where do I report them?

In the extra info section. It won’t make a difference.

^ Agree. I would not even mention it in the additional info if you don’t have a score. Only report the score and that would have little impact on admission anyway.

As you will not have a score, I would not even mention it since it will have no bearing on admissions.

Hmm, well I’ll disagree. I see no harm in including it in the additional info section, and I believe that some schools might count that as a (small) positive note…particularly those who read applications thoroughly and state that they like to see students challenging themselves, like small LACs. You’re doing extra academic work that’s not required! Why not let them know?

@staceyneil It may not be verifiable until after decisions come out anyway, so it really shouldn’t count toward anything.

So what if it’s not verifiable? I’m not suggesting it be listed as a class, or credit, or anything. Just as “additional information.”
I don’t see it as any different than reporting any other non-school things in additional info section… like if someone is an amateur botanist and has spent the better part of their free time in the last 4 years studying some specific form of local flora, for example, it is certainly pertinent to list that somewhere. Or if someone taught themselves Mandarin Chinese on their own time. Not verifiable, but not useless information for the AdCom to know. I think that self-studying two AP courses shows the student is willing to challenge themselves, work hard, etc. I’d include it.
