Where to send the deposit: PITT or BU?

I really like both Boston and Pittsburgh as cities. I’ve never lived in Boston though, just visited, but I think Pittsburgh is generally under rated. I certainly liked living there better than Miami (except for the weather) and Philadelphia (better city parks). I think the one thing Pitt does very well is get students to explore and participate in things going on around the city. All public transportation is free for Pitt students. Most of the museums are also free (Carnegie museums of natural history and art, Warhol, Phipps, Mattress Factory, etc). There are all sorts of discounted tickets for things like plays and music through the PittArts program. Honestly, I don’t know of another school that has so many programs set up that basically says “Please take advantage and go outside the campus and explore the city”. Check out the PittArts program: [PITT ARTS : University of Pittsburgh](http://www.pittarts.pitt.edu/)

No matter what, you’re not going to make a bad choice. What do you think you’re going to study? The strengths of various academic programs might also weigh in your decision a little bit?
