Where to transfer to from CUNY Baruch.....

Hey guys, any colleges you can recommend I could apply to from my current school of Baruch College, part of the CUNY system. It's cheap and not so bad, but very easy and not a lot of depth for my major. I would like to transfer to ALOT of schools but I know Baruch doesn't really have an, uhm, "reputation" and my resume is probably lackluster...

Here's a little backstory/stats

-Ethnicity: theres too many of us

-Financial Aid: Some, but not alot.

-****ty high school in CT. slightly above-Average Grades. SAT score of 1390/1600

-2009-2011 part time student for Liberal Arts degree at Kingsborough Community College (also CUNY) 50 credits, 3.97 GPA

-Then transferred to Baruch initially part time, currently full time, majoring in History and Political Science. (took most challenging courses) 20 credits, 3.89 GPA

-Fluent in 3 Languages, looking to get into Diplomacy and/or Law School after bachelors

Both schools, President of Political Science Club, Organizer for Democratic Party, Brought very important people to speak. Started chapters of Young Democrats, deans list, blah blah blah. Generally, I'm a very intelligent person but didn't try in HS or care so much for the SAT and didn't get into any schools I liked and went to a CC in nyc instead. Been doing all of this while working full time. I plan on writing a great essay and will have recommendation from both schools' dean and Oxford-status history professor.

Should I just slug out the next 2 years at Baruch? Or do I have even a slim chance of applying to places like NYU, schools in Cali, or some top liberal arts schools like Vassar? Not worried about cost of applications or potential tuition (currently have no debt because of working hard). Any feedback you guys have would be awesome, thanks!

What does this mean? You need some but not a lot? You get some but not a lot? What can your family actually afford? What is their EFC? NYU and CA schools will cost $50K+/year.
You can only borrow $7.5K as a Junior or Senior in college. All other costs would need a cosigner or have to be borrowed by your parents.

Law school requires good grades for entrance (along with good LSATs). If you feel you can do well at Baruch it might be best to stay there and keep costs low.

Firstly, thanks for you response.

My expected family contribution for an expensive school will be close to the full tuition. (high-income single parent, single child household) And my parent is willing to be a cosigner on a private loan. And while I am confident I can maintain a high GPA at Baruch, it’s not because of a work ethic, more so the easiness of the school and massive grade inflation. With that said, I’m sure this will be reflect on the strength of my application when I do apply. It’s kind of an average school, high acceptance rate, very difficult to distinguish oneself here. And from my, non-thorough research, doesn’t really feed into tier 1 law schools. However the price is awesome and that is certainly very appealing, but the tradeoff being I’m not very challenged here. Let me know what your think.
