I have won several atheltic and academic awards (but not good enough to play sports in college - lol)

I'm pretty disappointed with my SAT so I plan to take it again and also I plan to take the ACT. I am trying to aim for Duke, but I need to do something that makes me stand out more? Any suggestions?

Where do you think I could get accepted? Thanks!

This is like a chance thread to the extreme…

It doesn’t look like you have an exceptional area of interest. (Not that you don’t look like a great candidate.)

Also, learn to spell “its” correctly.

The discrepancy between GPA and all the test scores will make AdComs wonder about the academic rigor at your school.

haha modulation, agreed.

and yeah “it’s”…that burned my eyes for a bit.

but as jadoube said its really about your high school academic rigor too.

also, u should try to find a passion.

For Duke, you’ll need a better SAT/SAT IIs or ACT.

You have good chances at a lot of good schools, but for Duke you will probably need to raise your test scores quite a bit. You might want to try taking the ACT? Also, as iskander said, try to find ECs and other things that you really enjoy, and show that strength in your applications. Good Luck!
