Where would Science bowl rank?

<p>So according to this page:</p>

<p>at the bottom, winners of science bowl would be ranked 6. I thought it would be about 8 to be winners and about 5-6 for winning regionals. Would anyone care to share their opinion as in why? Is it not that prestigious?</p>

<p>The main reason is that it is a team competition. Individual competitions usually show more credibility to the knowledge of a person, while you could have a team with a few powerhouse players and you might be the worst player.</p>
