If you want a business major, who got accepted in both schools (Notre Dame and Emory) but received no financial aid, which school would you choose??

emory…

definitely Notre Dame.

Everything that would differentiate them is subjective.

That being said… Obviously emory. Unless you’re playing sports at a high level

I made this decision about 4 years ago and chose Emory (not at all related to business, though). I think the primary factor (since they are both great schools) was the location. South Bend is incredibly isolated and at least a two hour train ride to Chicago. There is not much to do around ND and the town in general is pretty sketchy. Emory’s proximity to Atlanta is a great benefit and I’ve never been bored with my options in Decatur/ATL. Since you want to study business, I would again suggest Emory. Mendoza is a good b-school but I see that it has two negative qualities. From talking with my friends who attend ND, most people end up at Mendoza because it is a default when they can’t think of what else to do. Second, its distance from major business centers seems like a disadvantage. Being in Atlanta, Emory b-school students have a lot of internship opportunities, setting them up for jobs when they graduate more easily.

i AM making this decision because I got into ND and Emory and I am choosing Emory.
