Where Would You Go?

University Accepted (Department of Major):
PSU (Smeal College of Business)
UW-Seattle (CAS)
BU (CAS)
UIUC (LAS)

If money was not an issue and if you wanted to major in economics, where would you attend? Why?

*Assume that you'll be getting a MBA degree after you graduate and work for few years.

Penn State. Their college of business is real good. I like the bigger atmosphere and spirit of the school.

All the universities you mention are excellent. It's not going to make a huge difference. I will say that if you want to eventually settle in the west, it might be better to go to UW. Likewise, for the Boston-area, BU is probably a better choice; UIUC for midwest; and PSU for northeast.

For enjoyable student life combined with a good education, I'm going to say PSU.

If you're looking in terms of settling and finding jobs after graduation, I'm still going to say PSU. Philadelphia and other PA cities have tons of job opportunities, but are much more affordable than west coast cities and cities like Boston.

PSU also has a big name in NYC, I believe, if Wall Street is what you're after.

Personally, UW-Seattle, just because I'd assume it's in Seattle. :D

I would choose BU but the campus is blegh.

I remember a very similar thread. As I recall you are an international student and your home is where?
