Where's everyone coming from?

I go to La Jolla Country Day. Where do you go- LCC? I think a lot people go out of state since I got to a private school so more families can afford private college tuition.
I went to the admitted students meeting. You should have gone. I met several students that will be at Georgetown next year so I'll already know people.

anyone from the south?

I from the deep south! (MEXICO) Lol

It doesn't seem like that many Southerners go to Georgetown. No one from Texas?

I'm coming from Just south of Ann Arbor, Michigan

Salt Lake City, Utah (and yes I am)

LOL :p

Massachusetts.....i have a couple of friends going to georgetown too, a bunch of friends going to school at GW and schools in MD, PA, and NJ.

Yea, I go to LCC, and you're probably right. I really wanted to go to that accepted students thing, but our spring break got moved and I happened to get stuck in fresno. lame!

what are some of the other local schools with accepted students? there is me and an NHS kid here at LCC.

People that were at the meeting go to Torrey Pines, La Jolla High, Rancho Bernardo, Uni, I think someone from Bishops, someone from like Bonita. The people were really nice. I'm sure you'll run into most people sometime, and even if you don't, I think most people at georgetown are cool.
I know some people that go to lcc, I'll ask you if you know them later.

I'm from Sugar Creek, Missouri. Town of 4,000 people. I'd say about 3-4% of people go out of state at my high school, if you include Kansas (blah). No one else from MO? Kind of disappointing. This whole experience is surreal for me. but oh so exciting...

4,000 people? My goodness. We have 5,000+ in our ** school **. cringes

Anyway, really looking forward to meeting everyone.

Los Angeles baby, although my family is moving to London (where I'm actually from) so technically i'll be an international student. A couple of my good friends are going to Georgetown as well so I'm pretty lucky.

I'm from Houston

If I enroll, I will also be coming from Houston.

NYC...Brooklyn, specifically.

It's ridiculous how many Jersey people are at Georgetown. That state is like bite-sized.

Jersey may be small, but it is the most densely populated state in America. I mean, have you seen our housing developments?

I coming from Oregon.

daria1000!! i remember u...didnt u apply early to columbia?? and now ur going to gtown! me 2 this is awesome...screw columbia they suck

I am from San Ramon, California (East Bay/Tri-Valley Area), but I'm originally from Hawaii. Strange there are hardly any Hawaii people on this board. I look forward to meeting everyone soon.
