Where's my decision?...

I haven't gotten a decision yet. Pretty much everyone I know online and in real life have received their decisions.

However, I did get an email saying they were considering my admission into the College of Arts and Sciences, but that was a long time ago.

Also, I called the admissions office, hearing that you can call to find out your decision after April 1st, but one of the student ambassadors who was on the other line said to be patient because I would find out by the end of the week.

Well it's the second week of April, and still nothing. Is anyone else still waiting?

I'd call again. The real admissions officers are pretty nice. If you get stuck with a student ambassador, see if you can go further up the chain. be persistent.

Did you not get an invite either?

Same boat here

They sent me an email saying I should basically expect the acceptance letter come April 1st, but they never sent me an actual acceptance decision.

I guess I'll try and call again.

Are you an international?

No, I'm not an international. What's strange is that they sent me an email saying they were considering me for acceptance into the College of Arts and Sciences for the Biology major that I applied for.

Also, I know they've given out rejections and waitlists the last week of March, let alone "send out" the final decisions by the end of the first week of April.

It's Tuesday, and I'm still waiting... Honestly I haven't even seen a rejection taking this long...

For USC I didn't get anything until Friday even though they sent out decisions March 28th. =/ Colleges are being horrible slow. I'd complain a lot if I were you. xD

It's Tuesday evening!! Come on!!! False hope, PLUS, near a week overdue decision?

Sorry to double post, but it's Wedensday and no decision. They definitely have/had all my application materials and supposedly reviewed them.

Not sure who's at fault, the USPS or the admissions office =/.

Anyway, since the Student Ambassadors are effectively useless, I would like to know if there's a way I can contact someone in admissions via email to find out my decision.

PS: I'm checking for myself, but just in case I can't find an email address I would appreciate the help.

just give them a call and they should transfer you to the right person

Xehanort, I feel ur pain..All of my friends were being accepted, and I had heard nothing! I would check my mail frantically every day after school for almost two weeks.I finally found out my decision Monday, and I got in with no prior invitation. But I had a feeling I got in over the weekend because I was able to log on to NYUHome. Try to make an account on their website. If it says ur not a current member of the NYU community ur either rejected, waitlisted, or no decision has been made yet. However, if like for me, it assigns u a Net ID and they assign u an email address, then ur in!

I tried it and it said I'm not a current member of the NYU community. However, I still don't have a decision from them yet and it's Thursday. This is the longest I've waited for a decision

I asked about my decision on the NYU forum and got an email the next day. I was waitlisted, and couldn't sign into NYU Home before hand. Sorry to say xehanort, but you were either rejected or waitlisted.

Call them up
