Whether or not to take Biology(or other courses) despite having AP credit?

I’m a Microbio major and I have AP credit for both of the required biology courses (BSC 2010/2010L and BSC 2011/2011L). Now, I’m not sure if I should simply skip those since I have the credit and see if I can get away with my 10th grade AP Bio education, or if I should pay to take the courses (esp as a microbio major). The only reason I’m apprehensive to taking them is if I can get away with reviewing the material on my own. I will also be taking all of the required Chemistry courses.

Long story short, what are your thoughts on taking a course such as Biology despite having the credits to skip it??

This is particularly directed towards those who have either taken the course or have insight into the difficulty of subsequent courses without taking the college Biology courses.
