<p>I suppose if you're applying under Engineering, the first would look better. However, IMHO, I think having a more balanced set of scores is better. Just my $0.02.</p>
<p>Unless you're applying for a math-related field, the college will value your verbal score more. The more balanced score is probably better, but why does it matter? They take the highest scores from each test, right?</p>
<p>If not going into a math-related field, definately the second because verbal is generally a tougher topic, less high scorers.</p>
