I would like to get either an MBA from a top 10 school or a JD from a top 12 school. If I am able to enroll in one, I would not mind one of the duel programs.

^ Weird distinctions. MBA top schools are usually grouped into top 6 or top 20. Top 14 is the norm for law schools. Why the top 10 and top 12?

@Seahawks506: What type of engineering?

Ph.D in Astrophysics.

Maybe JD; I haven’t decided if I want to go into law or politics yet.

thrill3rnit3, computer&electrical engineering

Cool story bro.

DDM

Tan char

Ph.D or JD, preferably from Harvard
That’s why I want to do undergrad someplace else ie. Yale, Brown, Princeton.
Such big competitive dreams :p

MD, wherever possible

Screenwriter —> B.A (maybe M.A).
Professor ----> Ph.D

Scratch that- PH.D in in Astronomy, preferably from Dartmouth

depends on what I eventually decide I want to go into. I want at least a masters degree, and if I decide on theatre I’ll go for an MFA and leave it at that. If I decide on any of the other many academic areas I’m interested in…well I dream of a PhD but idk if it’s all that realistic.

It depends, but possibly a PhD, if reading Piled Higher and Deeper and hearing my cousin talk about her program don’t put me off it :).

Well, for my undergraduate career, I’d like to have a degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy, with a probable minor in either Statistics or Molecular and Cellular Biology. Eventually, though, I would like to become a Doctor of Public Health, though I am vaguely considering the notion of a MD/JD (acquiring the law degree after some time in the medical field, though), as it fits in with my interests quite nicely.

But now that I’m re-reading this, I think the MA/PhD in Public Health is probably the way to go.

Apparently MITHopeful does not know that you cannot enroll in an MIT doctorate program while holding a doctorate. They do not allow those with doctorates to apply for another doctorate, at least in computer science.

MITHopeful, what do you know about algorithms? Does the name Donald Knuth ring a bell? Don’t tell me if it does, because you probably will look him up in a vain effort to appear intelligent. The purpose of my statements was to just show you, you have a lot to learn about real computer science. My uncle, a computer science researcher, shows me some interesting stuff when I see him. Computer science is not simply programming a little application. From your posts I am given to understand you have but an elementary grasp of computer science concepts undoubtedly gained from either your schools robotics club (i bet you dont even code in a real language) or your ap computer science class. You also come off as cocky about your computer expertise, which just annoys those of us who actually have real knowledge in such subjects. that is all

This is an excellent substitution for what I usually use: /rant.

But it works just as well, I guess.

that is all

maybe a Ph.D just for the title lol

BA Int’l Relations minor Poli. Science or art[photo or film?]

JD from a university obviously. not UMass though

Wait, I have a question: if you are a MD and hold a Ph.D, what are you called? Surely you get to be something special.

^Super Doctor? Double Doctor? Dobler?

My cousin’s doing this.

^^Medical Scientist.
