I just started my AP World History Class and bombed the first quiz w/ a 60%. That book is the most boring dry-natured thing I have ever seen in my life. I can tell this class is going to be a real fight, but I need your help on how to handle this class. My goal is to come out with an A for both semesters and get a 5 on the AP exam. I may have had a rough start, but I’m ready to work for that A and 5 AP score. What are your tips on which prep book to buy to help me throughout the year and also how do you recommend I handle this class to get an A? Thank you so much in advance everybody!

CC seems to recommend both PR and Barrons
Barrons- Goes into more detail than you don’t need to know, but has everything you need to know
PR- Easier and shorter, but sometimes misses details that you need to know

I got both and never really used them except for maybe the week before for light review/refresher. Teacher tests are usually detail heavier than the exam so maybe Barrons are you best bet and then use PR for the exam

Thx for the advice!!
