I am currently in AP Bio with an A average in the class... got a 5 on some practice tests.
Which SAT II should I take? Both? I really only have time for one of them.

You can only take one on one test date. Take M, it follows more closely to AP Bio classes.
The way the test is structured is that the first part of it is the same for both E and M, then there’s the separate E and M parts.

Some schools dont teach M, but honestly at least IMO, E is easier, and has a better curve. the material that E covers is like the various biomes, succession, trophic levels, its pretty straightforward.

M refers to molecular, I’m surprised schools don’t teach the molecular concepts of biology…that sounds unwise.
E usually has less emphasis in a general biology class.

in my AP Bio class, ecology was stressed a lot less. however, i took E, cuz i found it vastly easier. in some practice exams, M had some complicated lab questions, so i didnt even look at it. E is some simple memorization of biomes and obvious relations in the ecosystem. however, M has a little bit better curve.

In my AP Bio class we didn’t focus much on ecology. I took M, it seemed easier.
But it’s up to you. Take whichever one you feel more comfortable with. E I think is just a lot of biome, population, trophic, succession stuff as someone above me also pointed out.

E for me was super easy.

One question was (paraphrasing)
more people could live on earth if everyone ate
a) meat
b) vegetables and fruits

yeah. take M if you like photosynthesis, respiration, biochemistry, mechanics and stuff like that,

Take E if you like the more environmental side of Biology

Its said that M is easier, but I found E to be VERY easy

M has pedigree charts. no one likes those…

For that reason alone, I’m taking E.

^word up…
