Sorry if similar thread started already... :D

Which prep book do you think is better for the AP Environmental Science Exam?
a) The Princeton Review's Cracking the AP Environmental Science Exam
b) AP Environmental Science (REA) - The Best Test Prep for Advanced Placement
or c) Barron's AP Environmental Science ?

Thank you :) Any advice/input is appreciated!

Well, I got the Princeton Review Book, it has a pretty decent overview of the concepts. I think the Barron's has the best practice tests, though, but the summary is way too in depth to be worth it.

I've heard the REA is the best summary wise, though as I said I got the Princeton one. The REA has a more in depth summary than Princeton, but it isn't too dense and isn't hard to read. So I guess it just depends on what you need/want.

Thank you Emmaline :)
I heard that Barron's was way too in depth too, like you mentioned, and REA's better.
I don't know. I am going to the bookstore one of these days to look through each of the books, and also Kaplan's.
P.S.: Welcome to CC! :D

Emmaline, may I ask which version of Barron's ap environmental science you're referring to?

I got the kaplans and I thought it was pretty good. I dont know how ready I will be for the AP test though.

smartypants is good, but I'll try out REA...barron's was waaaaaaaaaay too much info (540 pages are you kidding me?!) and scared me off initially with the whole "thesis " rant about the frq. Since it's the AP Bio system all you need to do is put anything related and you will get a 35-40 on the FRQ...it's actually a lot easier if you know your bio/history :)

i bought the barrons and never opened it....lol i like PR easy and simple
