What are the better books for these? I was looking at the PR and Barron's for them, also, I know the smarty pants guide was recommended, but I like to stay in known ground. lol I was thinking barron's for enviro since I am going to be self studying and it has a CD with it.

PR is known to be the best review book for Environmental Science. Barron’s is way too detailed and lengthy; the practice tests are also extremely hard. I looked through a practice test at Barnes and Noble one day and I swear I would’ve gotten a 3 if I had taken it. The questions are so random and obscure. PR is much more practical, and the new Kaplan edition looks good too. I personally used Earth as a Living Planet, PR, and Kaplan and got a 5 as a self-study. Barron’s is not recommended.

Alright, thanks! Anyone know about bio?

^The consensus on these boards is that Cliffs is the best book for AP Bio.

Yeah, I read that after this. Sorry guys!! I looked at it in the bookstore, and it looks better than Barron’s and PR.
