happycrayon, you may have started the topic but that doesn't mean your king.

stop being egocentric. people are here to help you but this can be a useful community college thread for everyone, not just you.

hey ilovecalifornia, where the heck did that comment come from? I know perfectly well the purpose of these forums are to be helpful, but that reply is uncalled for. Really. How am I being egocentric? I've only put up like 3 threads in my time being a registered member, and by putting three up, I'm king? Huh? Doesn't make sense. Don't chastise me for being normal.

santa barabara will transfer ut here easy , they have counselors that wills et u up. its beautiful and a great school. i know cause i take classes there while i go to santa barabra high school

College of the Canyons hands down. A little North of LA.

-Not as fierce competition at other top CCCs like SMC or PCC.
-Spectacular Professors.
-Honors Program is easy to complete and gives one priority admission into UCLA.

 PCC advertises in the Daily Bruin about their benefits for students who want to transfer into UCLA, which isn't exact the right audience to target.

The point of community college is also to save yourself some money while you get most of your ges out of the way (not wind up paying for an apartment so you can attend another CCC farther away, or to pay for gas and commute long hours for another CCC). I would just stay close to home and make an impression at Chaffey. Go through your courses, get into the honors program, get involved in your community (if you've already started some things while in high school, continue w/ you volunteer work there), etc. The time saved could just go towards more services or activities to boost your application.

BTW, this is the first time I've ever heard Mt. SAC referred to as UC Walnut
