<p>Ethnicity does not matter at UC’s. They got rid of Affirmative action for their college decisions.</p>
<p>First you need to calculate your UC GPA, see attached link: <a href=“Cal State Apply | CSU”>Cal State Apply | CSU. UC’s only use grades 10 & 11 for the GPA.
Average UC WGPA for the UC’s is a 4.0+ except for UCR and UCM. SAT score is very low. If you do not plan to retest, UCR and UCM will probably your only chance at the UC’s. You would need at least at 1900+ for UCI/UCD/UCSB/UCSC and at least 2100+ for UCSD, UCLA and UCB.
You would have better chances at many of the Cal States. Definitely chose your college list wisely.
Also check the common data sets (google common data set) Note *GPA on common data set is unweighted) for each campus to see how your STATS compare.
Need more leadership in your EC’s and write great essays.</p>
<p>If you can get your SAT above 1700 and your UC WGPA to 3.9+, you can apply for the Guaranteed Admission Program at UCR. See link:<a href=“New Students | Apply | Undergraduate Admissions | UC Riverside”>http://admissions.ucr.edu/WhyUCR/ourGuarantee</a></p>
