Is it harder to get into Fordham at the Lincoln Center or in the Bronx?
You should apply to the campus you would want to spend four years at. Most people work better in an environment that they like, and it is practically impossible to transfer campuses at Fordham. I also don’t think if one is harder to get into than the other that anyone would know. Colleges often tell you that the difficulty is minorly different if at all. Apply wherever you will be happier if you were to attend.
^^^Agree. The campuses and the overall experiences are very different so apply to the one you want to attend.
When my S went (graduated in '12) they were about the same to get into and one could transfer from one campus to another. Not sure if things have changed since then.
Hi, current LC student here! I agree with the posts above, both campuses have a very distinct and different feel to them, so apply to where you can see yourself best! As far as I’m aware there is no difference when it comes to getting accepted. The university only publishes one acceptance rate a year and that’s for all the colleges and campuses combined.
Sorry this is late, but I have to completely disagree with @CathJR. It’s not impossible to transfer campuses, in fact, it’s one of the easiest campus transfers at any school. You have to get a form signed by your dean and the dean of the new college, and that’s about it.
@ajweilsdkn When I emailed my regional rep asking if it was ever possible to transfer they told me it was extremely difficult. I was just going by information given to me by someone employed at Fordham.
My friend got deferred from lincoln center and when she emailed the rep they basically said that if she switched to rose hill she’d get accepted
@CathJR I’m a freshman at Rose Hill right now and am currently in the process of transferring. I had a two minute conversation with my dean, met with the dean of Lincoln Center to say hello and get a signature, and that was all it took to transfer schools.
