i will be a senior and have a dilema on choosing a class between ap stat and ap environmental science.

My schedule looks like the following:
1. Academic Decathlon
2. Ap Lit
3. Ap Econ/Gov
4. Ap Chem
5. French 4
6. Either Ap Stat or Ap environmental
7. Technical Foundation/Swim
8. Diff Equation and Linear Algebra thru. Lousiana State University.

here are my 10th and 11th grade schedules to better your answers.
10th
1. Academic Decathlon
2. Honors English
3. AP Euro
4. Ap physics
5. Ap Bio
6. French 2
7. H. Precalculus (during this year, i self-taught Ap calc BC and managed to get a 4 on Ap exam)
8. Swim

11th
1. Academic Decathlon
2. Ap Lang
3. Ap Us
4. French 3
5. Art
6. Swim
7. Multivariable Calculus thru. Louisiana State University

Oh, by the way, is it better to take online math classes thru Stanford than thru LSU? Does it really make difference on admssion process?

That's a pretty tough decision there; I have taken both APES and AP Stats, but I have to say I enjoyed AP Stats a bit more. Also, I feel that AP Stats would probably help you more in the future than APES. I don't know... I say go with Stats...

AP Stats is a more challenging class, and most colleges know that. If you are looking top 25 go with AP stats. If you are looking for an easy senior year, go with APES

I did Multivariable Calculus thru. Louisiana State University. It was a good class. We did much more in than the UNC math class does. I now grade for the UNC MV class.

But getting back to your question, take AP Statistics. It is much more useful. You will learn the material in AP Environmental science in many other courses that you will take in the future. You can always independent study it if you want. It is not that hard.

i will take ap stat, thanks.
lebedev, so u are saying LSU is better than UNC?

I'll say AP Stats as well. APES is kind of like the joke AP to colleges. You might get credit for Stats, but probably not for APES.
