Which college backpack is good to buy?

I was hoping to buy a new backpack for college, but I was looking for one that’s good quality, and will last for awhile. I’m going to be an art major, so it’d be really helpful to also get advice from other fellow art majors too, but everyone is welcome to say their opinion. I was thinking of maybe looking at the Herschel backpack, or Fjallraven Kanken backpack, or a Jansport? Nowhere local sells Northface backpacks, but I heard their also good too. I have a small height, by the way, and I don’t really care about the style either, as long as it gets the job done. I wore Jansport backpacks a lot in highschool, but they weren’t really water resistant against the rain. But, what do you think about each backpack for an art major? Or which backpack did you buy or recommend for college?

Look on the LL Bean website to see if there is anything you think you’ll like. They have a 100% satisfaction guaranteed policy so if you end up hating it, you can still return it for a full refund.

If you are going to be carrying a computer, consider one with a laptop compartment.

I really like northface, they’re expensive upfront but can be used for years, have a lot of pockets and organizers, and are waterproof (for rain, don’t drop your backpack in a lake!). You could look online since they don’t have those where you live.

I, too, recommend LL Bean. They have lasted for years!

Second Northface. DD has the women’s version of the Borealis, and on it’s third year, looks like new. It’s waterproof, and kept things dry even in Seattle’s never-ending winter rain. It has a padded computer compartment too. Some other backpacks are unisex, but the women’s models Northface offers are cut so that they fit women’s upper bodies properly. And whille DD isn’t petite in that she’s tall, she is very small-waisted and this pack is perfect for her. You don’t have to have a store nearby, though Dick’s Sporting Goods seems to be everywhere, and sells them. You can order online directly form Northface, or through an online outlet store.
