which college is better?

u of iowa, arizona state, u of arizona.
my major is business.
u of arizona has most highest rank in business major, however, u of iowa has most highest rank university.
Which one is best? Whats your opinion?

How much will each of these cost you?

Are you an international student, or a US student?

For Iowa, would you be at Tippie?

@Jessiely:

  1. Remember, the clear majority of undergraduates change majors at least once during their undergraduate years.
  2. Most people – including hiring managers – probably don’t know the specific standing of majors at an (or many) institution(s); however, many individuals are familiar with the institutions’ general stature.

Both #1 and #2 suggest that a school’s overall reputation is important, quite possibly more important.

However, I’d put them all on about the same tier. Hiring managers generally don’t look at rankings, BTW.

Important questions: what are costs for each and where do you want to work after graduation?

As PurpleTitan said: if you calculate
(tuition, fees, room, board) - (grants, scholarships)
what are the costs for each?

Did you get into the honors college at any of them?

no i dont and the cost is does not matter cuz i am international. so that all of that has high tution fee

I am international so these school have similar tution fee about me

yes I would be Tippe
If i were go Arizona, I woulbe Eller

Iowa looks like the best choice.

OK, where do you want to work? Do you like a city or small town. Desert that gets super hot or place with 4 seasons (and very cold winters)?

@PurpleTitan - The OP is an International Student. The chance of finding a job that would continue past the end of the OPT visa extension (12 months for a business major) is very nearly 0.

@jessiely - If employers in your country prefer one of these universities, and the costs are essentially the same, then that is where you need to study. It really is that simple. Ask around, and find out if it matters. If they don’t care, and a degree from any university in the US is good enough to get you a job in your home country, then you can pick the university based on whatever reasons you like. Weather? Airport? Ease of travel to other places you’d like to visit? You also can contact the career centers on each campus and ask them about where their international business graduates find jobs after the end of the OPT.
