I've thought about this a lot, but I'm still torn between attending RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) and Suny Binghamton. I'm planning to double major in computer science and art.

I'm aiming to become a game concept artist in the future, which makes me feel like I should choose RIT, but I will have to pay 4k and take out 10k in loans a year instead of paying 3k and taking out 5k in loans a year for Binghamton.

I'll also be able to learn web design, animation, flash, etc. at RIT, but Binghamton doesn't offer some of these. I'm the type of person that learns better in an academic setting. There's way more focus on game development at RIT compared to Binghamton. It also seems RIT might be better affiliated with game companies because of its coop programs?

So what I'm wondering is if it's worth the extra 20k in loan to attend RIT or my career prospects will be the same regardless of which school I attend?
