Hey everyone. So I am looking at colleges for my bachelors degree and im wondering which city if i could go to any city in the usa which city should I consider going to college at for a graphic design major, or a interior design major?

Here are my wants in a city
Waterparks indoor or outdoor
Indoor amusement parks would be nice but not a must have
historical landmarks ie mansions and stuff would be nice
transportation to places ie busing
Last but not least I love TV shows, pop culture, American history, and entertaiment ie books, board games, exc. and I love warm weather. So which city do you think I should choose based on those things. I also want the city to match my character.

I think California and Florida are both valid options, because they do have a lot of theme parks, both are where a lot of films are made, both have lots of history and both have mild winters.

Which city? I guess if in California go to Anaheim. If in Florida, maybe Orlando?

(I’m mostly basing this on the locations of the Disney parks.)

If you’re looking for a place with history and public transportation, Florida is not the place. There is plenty of history in some places (St Augustine, etc), but Orlando is not one of them. Public transportation is mostly a joke except for in places like Miami. I know there is a bus service in Orlando, but not sure how it is. For instance I live in a city of over 100k people and the buses run once an hour - if you miss one, you wait another hour. If you want to go from one Florida city to another, there’s only Greyhound. If I want to go to Orlando from where I live, it’s an hour and a half drive, and there is no regular running bus/train between any cities here. If you live in Florida, you pretty much need a car for wherever you go. And if you are in college, will you have time and money (close to $100.00 for one visit) to visit the Disney parks?

That being said, I hear Florida State U in Tallahassee has one of the best programs in film and U of Central Fl is decent.
