Which colleges near New York City should I be looking into for engineering (computer engineering most preferred though) ?
Given the scores I got, what are my chances in:
SUNYs (specially Binghamton and Stony Brook)
Rutgers
Cooper Union

Please suggest me some more good colleges. I'll be really grateful. Thank you in advanced!

Stevens Institute in Hoboken, NJ, should definitely be on your list, as should NJIT. SUNY Binghamton has a good Engineering school, but it is not very close to NYC (other end of state). Pace has Computer Science, but not Engineering. It might be a good choice, if money is not a major concern, because you would be right in lower Manhattan, with access to internship opportunities around Wall Street.

Rutgers-New Brunswick is a reach for you, from out-of-state (especially if you’re applying to the Engineering School); Binghamton might also be. I’m not sure about Cooper Union or Stony Brook for Engineering. Stevens is a reach, but not impossible at all. Pace and NJIT should be matches, as other divisions of Rutgers would be.
