Which colleges require Math 2?

<p>Does anyone know of any colleges that specifically require one of your subject tests to be Math 2? Thanks!</p>

<p>well most somewhat competitive colleges require that you take Math II is you want to major in engineering or math or anything that is math intensive</p>

<p>i don't think you need it for most science majors... except maybe physics. Pre-med isn't a major though.</p>

<p>If you are majoring in Engineering or Architecture and the college requires SAT II's, definitely take Math IIC</p>

<p>Ok thanks! So if I want to major in chemistry or biology or some sort of science, I definitely don't need to take Math 2? I don't want to risk having a bad score for a subject test that wasn't even required!</p>

<p>The only "requirement" for Math II is that the UC system will not accept Math I, so you have to take II if you choose to take a math test.</p>

<p>If it's not required or specifically recommended, don't bother taking it!</p>

<p>don't take Math IC, unless you are sure you will get a 800.
because -1 is a 770 already.</p>

<p>while for Math IIC, -5 is still a 800.</p>
