Which Common App prompt corresponds to the Questbridge Bio one? Essay 1, Essay 2, etc

Which Common App prompt corresponds to the Questbridge Bio one? Essay 1, Essay 2, etc?

I was hoping we could just paste them all in; the instructions usually just say, reuse your essays. Is there a word limit in the Common App?

Well, I was wondering if the Bio essay would be considered “topic of your choice”?

and i don’t think so; there’s a limit of 250 words though

the minimum is 250 words

They recommend about a page max (single spaced) for the main essay, with 250 words being the minimum. I just checked “topic of your choice” for the prompt. I don’t think they care very much which prompt you choose, so long as you write an essay that answers the implied questions they’re asking (who are you, how well do you write, what will you contribute to the community, etc.)

oh, sorry i wrote that wrong. i meant minimum, not limit!

Do you think using my ~600-700 word biographical essay would be okay?

yeah I was planning to use my biographical essay

yeah i was wondering about that too. if we use our biographical essay, then should we just put it under “topic of choice” or make it fit into another topic?

i wish i could use two of my essays…i thought my sig experience and bio were equally good. gosh, that’s saddening.

Can we use the biographical essay on the “additional information essay” ? I am using the significant experience from QB for Common App since they are the exact same prompt.

If you are a finalist, many colleges will take the Questbridge application in lieu of their application or in addition to it. Either way, your essays will be seen.
