Well.. I'm not living in the US. but want to go to Uni in the US.
I mean my nationality is not American.
And I graduated from CC in other country, but major was culinary arts.
(want to get another major, and I would mention below)

I'm looking for going to the CC which is the best for transferring into UC Berkeley.
And my major would be business, management, marketing like these one.

Also, I want to get a scholarship from CC.
Is it difficult for international students?

Any advice would help, thanks!

The one which covers the most prerequisites for your major with its course offerings, according to [Welcome to ASSIST](http://www.assist.org) . Bonus would be if it also offers courses that cover the American cultures requirement at Berkeley.

Certainly DVC (Diablo Valley College) in Concord has a fairly good reputation locally of getting students into the UCs…you should take a look at its offerings.

This is first time to use this web.
I’m not sure that it is the right way to reply to you.

Anyway, your reply helped me so much.
and also there are a lot of information!
So, I need a pretty much time for understanding over these things :)

Thanks so much!

To. GoldenWest

Yeah I agreed cause I’ve heard many times that DVC is one of the best CC for transferring into Berkeley. but I just want to know still it is or not. and want to know another way or CCs.

THANKS!

I go to a local high school that sends almost a third of its students annually to DVC. Our counselors all rave about how great of an option it is because it’s cheap and sends a lot of alums to Berkeley easily if they have a 3.5 or so. I forget the whole lecture, but basically DVC really is a good way to save money and get into Berkeley, provided that you stay motivated.

To. SeaSwallowed

THANKS A LOT!

After checked your reply, I’m looking about requirements for go to DVC as well as scholarships.

Thanks again!

No problem. Just know that people have been having a hard time getting all their classes at DVC, so some people have had to do three years there. But it’s still a solid option and will still save a lot of money.

Santa Monica College has high transfer rates to UCLA and Berkeley. The reason why CCs around the Bay Area have the highest transfer rates to Cal is because people who go there typically want to transfer there.
