<p>a senior in high school and next year, i plan on attending a community college. My absolute dream school is UC Berkeley.
anyways, I want to know how difficult it is to get in as a transfer? I know its the hardest of the UCs, but what kind of GPA would pretty much secure my chances for transfer admission?</p>

<p>and does it make a huge difference which community college i attend? </p>

<p>My choices are Vista Community college (is closer/more convenient) or Diablo Valley College. </p>

<p>DVC is 'the better CC' and has higher transfer rates to berkeley,. Should I go to DVC to improve my chances? Or does it not make a huge difference that their transfer rates are high? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! i need advice. any advice will be very appreciated = )</p>

<p>uh...depends on major...but definitely 3.70+</p>

<p>and community colleges don't really play that big a role...just go to the one you want to. Just because you attended a certain CC doesn't mean that your chances are going to improve.</p>

<p>ilovecalifornia. Go to Merrit, it's closer and pretty good with smaller more intimate classes than normal cccs.</p>
