Which companies hire the most international students?

I’m international student and I want to work in USA after I graduate from college. So which well known companies give the most visas to international students? Where can I find the list of these companies?

Thanks

This is purely industry/sector based , there are a lot of companies which hire international students in the technology sector , but for all other sectors the options arent that many. Just as a rule of thumb any company that is involved into defense work will pretty much not hire international students, other than that there is no general rule.
Also, a LOT of companies make exceptions so dont assume just because a company does not hire international students that you dont have a shot. If you could tell me your major I could give you a list of companies that I am aware of for that field.

Thank you!

Well for Finance the good part is most major companies hire international students , I cant really come up with a comprehensive list, but most major conglomorates do hire Finance Majors, so do most banks (probably all of them that you have heard of ) , consulting as well. So to list a few (if that helps)
Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase,Morgan Stanley,Lehman Bros.,Barclays,UBS
Goldman Sachs,Bain,Mckinsey,BCG,Deloitte,ZS- Masters Level,Motorola,Microsoft

Also, a lot of companies have a Masters based policy , they only hire internationals at a Masters level. Hope that helped in some form!

My recommendation would always be to try your luck with Tech companies , they are more used to dealing with international students and usually do have finance related positions.

Thank you, I appreciate your help!

I also think that F1 and entry level jobs don’t mix too well. American employers will most likely hire an experienced foreigner who has specific skills that will benefit specific needs than entry level f1 students.

^ HA Ha Ha,
( not trying to offend you, but you SERIOUSLY need to go to these career fairs at my school )

hi, you can find all US bank locations, addresses, telephone numbers and more details here. Check out the below link

My advice to you is to apply for work in your home country, then request a transfer.

Many companies do not accept people without work permits / VISAs or don’t bother sponsoring VISAs. The few good firms with nice benefits who wouldn’t blink at spending $5k-$10k on your Visa tend to be very selective and can choose not to hire you on other factors.

When I see smart international students, especially those who still have subtle difficulties with English, apply for top jobs in the US, I see them get rejected despite great resumes. The best performing out of these usually move back home after graduating, apply at their dream company in their home office (or an office that speaks their native tongue), and then request an international transfer after a few years of working, at which point they can work in the US and not have the VISA thing be an issue. Its much easier to move from inside the company than outside (although some companies can make intl transfers tough, so do your research).
