Which country would you live in if you had to move outside the US?

I would choose Australia because I wouldn't have to learn a new language and there's nice beaches there. The accents, warm weather, and good looking people are a plus. I would also be willing to consider Canada (specifically British Columbia) and any stable country with nice tropical beaches and/or surfable beaches.

England, Germany, France, respectively.

^^Canada sucks. I moved here 2 years ago.

UK, Ireland, maybe France [except i dislike french secularism as it is now with a passion. I speak french though]. I don’t think i’d mind australia or new zealand. If I learned portuguese i could do brazil, or if i learned german i’d do germany.

^ Even BC? I could understand that it would totaly suck to live in Edmonton, or somewhere in the middle of Manitoba or Alberta. BC would seem like a good fit for me because I could go fishing, hiking snowboarding, and I’m a hockey fan (not a Nucks fan though). Vancouver seems like a cool city.

^hahahahaha we moved to edmonton. we live in calgary now though. the middle of alberta lol

haha that’s too funny. To quote former Ducks goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov, Edmonton “is like North Pole”

Living in Edmonton must be like being banished to Siberia.

Whenever I see pictures of Edmonton on TV when I’m watching hockey, it looks like an Eastern European Soviet-type city. All the buildings looks like huge concrete edifices (sort of like the buildings at Texas A&M).

Hawaii
12char :D

Luxembourg

Anywhere in the Anglosphere and after that Hong Kong. Within the Anglosphere, probably the UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand in that order.

Venice, Italy. Truly one of the most beautiful city in the world.

(4x ^) Nice.

I would say Iceland, near Reykjavik, but I’m not sure if a lot of people there know English or would ostracize me for being American. Otherwise Oxfordshire, England where I could subtly-stalk the members of the band Radiohead when they’re back home.

My friends and I like to joke that should America truly go to the dogs, we’ll move to New Zealand.
It’s a beautiful place with a nice mix of nature and technology, a high literacy rate, growing economy and intriguing culture. There’s also the fact that I LOVE the kiwi accent.

plus alien invasions no ones landing on new zealand, and world war 3 no ones bombing new zealand… lol

England, U.A.E. (lived there my entire life anyway…) or Egypt

^ … smh.

Back home to Italy would be amazing.

In the event that global affairs are ****ing themselves even more, I have my eyes on a home in New Zealand.

I’d also love to live in South Korea, if things don’t get worse.

^^ ummm of course i’m one…in training of course duhh.

no, it’s just that culturally it’s nicer (im muslim too)…and it’s an environment I’m used to. The OP asked outside of the U.S. so if I had to pick it would either be those countries…and I lived in the United Arab Emirates (In Bur Dubai, Dubai, U.A.E.) since i can rememe\ber except for up until i had to start HS here in MN…so yeah…living there isn’t that bad trust me.

I would also look in Italy & Australia…maybe.

the UAE is beautiful.

Confederate: You’re a terribly obvious ■■■■■. You have to learn to be subtle about these things.

Well I already live outside the US but if I had to choose a country other than my homeland and the country I live in now, I would choose…hmm…Singapore? Or New Zealand or…actually if I rule out my top two choices I’m left with nowhere I really want to live.

Buenos Aires, Argentina. It’s a Spanish speaking NYC–it can’t get much better for me
