Anybody else want to move out of the country that they live in right now? Im and American ( New York ), and after I live in California I want to move to Canada, UK, or Austrailia. Even though I know I probally wont.

I'm moving to England for a semester.

Every time I see something on the news about the middle east it makes me want to move to Canada.

I dont know, I just feel like america has nothing and every other country has a strong culture.

we are a mix of cultures

^Exactly. Just depends where you are in America. Plus, we pretty much contain global pop culture.

Nope. Happy to visit the world, but I like it here. We've definitely have some things wrong with us, but I'm willing to work for a change. :]

I would love to move out of the country.

I'm applying to schools with good study-abroad programs.

I live in New York, my school is very mixed with everything except white. I barely see white people.

But like other countries have customs and traditions that they celebrate hard.

We just have Halloween, Thanksgiving.

I would love to move to UK or Australia.

dank: LOL...Yeah, I feel the same, cept with me I have Bi-Polar which is considered a "medical disorder" so if they ever did a draft I'd be pretty much safe :0)

I want to live in the land of the Kangaroos or the land of raw fish:)

haha...if I could live anywhere in the world California is my first choice but after that; country wise I'd want to live in Ireland :0)

1.) I'm Irish
2.) I LOVE Ireland
3.) My birthday is on St. Patricks day :0)

I was born in Ottawa, Canada but I live in the US now. I moved here when I was two. My mom is American and my dad is Canadian so now I have dual citizenship. :)

I would want to live in:

Sydney, Australia
Melbourne, Australia
Auckland, New Zealand
Paris, France
Buenos Aires, Argentina
London, England
Dubai, UAE
Athens, Greece
St. Petersburg, Russia
Toronto, Canada
Montreal, Canada
Vancouver, Canada

So many places...

I hoep I can visit every one of them in my lifetime.

ITALY! Definitely.
I speak Italian, so I'm good. And I have family & friends there, so I won't be too lonely, lol.

Switzerland would be awesome, too. But not in the north or the center, too much German for my taste and I don't speak a word of German. I would be fine in the west and the south since I speak both Italian and French, lol.

...or Spain! Nac

I love the U.S., but Canada's looking better all the time.

While I still love the U.S, and want to live in Maine, Alaska and Florida still, the idea of living out of the country is also extremely appealing to me. My list of cities/countries is as follows:
1.)Tokyo, Japan
2.)Ireland
3.)London, England
4.)Dubai, United Arab Emirates
5.)longyearbyen, Svalbard

I like the cold, and either extremely isolated, or extremely crowded. Tokyo would be amazing if I knew Japanese, I think I would love it there, Dubai because it's a future world capital, Ireland because of my background and I think it's beautiful(never been though), London because I rather like the English way of life, and Svalbard because it's extremely isolated.

I lived abroad when I was really young - so I didn't get to appreciate it. I'd love to have the opportunity now. My list -

Bangkok, Thailand

Cairo, Egypt

Dubai, UAE

Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Geneva, Switzerland

somewhere in Russia - I don't know if I'd want to live there but I'd love to visit at least.

in canada, don't you have to play like really high taxes?

screw that.

I'm an Aussie who is desperatly trying to attend prepschool/college in America!

Johnothan1, Tymel - Why would you want to move to Australia?

Wow... I was so sure I posted in this thread... but I guess CC didn't like my post...? :(

I'd like to live in England for a year. I've seen the country in winter (Brits can be crazy at Christmastime!) and in summer... but autumn in Spain impressed me a good deal, so I'd like to see the British Isles in that season--and in spring--as well.

My family is moving to Ecuador in a year or two. We have a small house/farm in a valley in the Andes, which is really cool... but I'll be off in college or something when they go down there. No fun for me. :p I visited the house with my family over the summer and it was really neat... but I got dreadfully sick and lost about 10 pounds--10 pounds that I didn't necessarily have available to lose.

France would be an interesting place to live, except it's expensive. And I spent a month at a language school there over the summer, and it was horribly hot. I couldn't take one of their canicules every summer.

I'd also like to see New Zealand, Italy, Uruguay, and Iceland. I'm planning on spending some months in Norway after I graduate from high school. That'll be interesting. :)
