I was going to take AP Lit my senior year, but the things you do in AP Language seemed more interesting to me so I signed up for Language...

but some people are now telling me top schools favor AP Lit more because you read the novels you need to have read before entering universities...

is this true??? should i take the challenge and take AP Lit in place of Language? I'm not sure if i want to or have enough class space to take both my senior year...

I don't think it really matters. I will have taken both, and they're pretty similar...just english classes...bleh.

AP Lit is known for being more difficult than AP Lang. AP Lit is also more respected. if you had to choose, then go with AP Lit.

You don't have them one after the other? We have to do AP Lang before AP Lit... I think it depends on the school. I just know that you can only take AP credit for one or the other.

at my school you have to take AP english senior year, but since we're on block you can choose to take both Lit and Language, if you have enough class space...

but I dont, so i have to choose one of the two...

so top universities favor AP Lit???
