Which dorms like to party the most?

Just as the title says, trying to figure out which dorms seem to have a higher amount of those that like to party. From reading old posts it seems like Newing has been in the past, but obviously things like that can change over time so idk...

No it’s still Newing. If you go to the Bing-U Secrets facebook, you can kind of get some insight into some of the culture at campus. You’ll see a couple Newing-related posts.

Thanks for the reply. Just now seeing Newing doesn’t have great food options, is there a close runner up to Newing in terms of people that like to party?

Hi! My name is Rob and I’m a Binghamton Student Ambassador.

What gave you the impression that Newing didn’t have good food options? I consider C4, which is shared between Newing and Dickinson, to be the best dining hall. It has a lot of great options, including a Mongolian Wok that cooks stir-fry and the best pizza on campus, in my opinion. C4 is the largest dining hall because it’s the only one shared between two communities, meaning it has more options. You certainly won’t go hungry living there.

Haha well I guess I’m a little bit ignorant on the food options then. Just from what I had read here http://budining.com/plans/documents/buresidentbrochure_001.pdf</a> , it didn’t sound like there was much food-related activities going on in Newing, judging by where it listed the different resident dining/retail locations, but now I see that Chenango Champlain Collegiate Center = C4? Is C4 in Newing, or how close is it to Newing if not?

Haha you’ll have to forgive a community college transfer here for the questions that might sound a little ridic, 'preciate your help though.

Sorry for butting in!
Are students restricted to their own dining halls or can they eat at other halls as well?

Nope, you can eat wherever you’d like. Your meal plans works in all dining halls, and at several cafes/retail shops around campus.

tblanc: The Chenango Champlain Collegiate Center (C4) is directly between Newing and New Dickinson, which are themselves directly next to each other. It’s around a one minute walk from the farthest buildings in those two communities, I’d say. Maybe less.

2017graduate: The theme of our meal plans is flexibility. You can use your meal plan in any dining hall, the food court that will be opening in Spring 2014, and any of the retail dining options around campus.
