ps3, xbox 360, or Nintendo Wii or gameboy?

I’d recommend a PS3 or a 360

I have a 360 and I love it.

Go with a PS3 or 360. The Wii is cool but the graphics are not so great. Go to a Best Buy or Gamestop and try both systems, and see which one will fit you best.

I have a PS3 and can only tell you what I know from that system.

Wii60 or a PC.

I think it depends on what kind of gaming you do. I would have liked a PS3 but it’s out of my price range and I would not want to bring something that expensive to college anyway. The next best option for me is Wii, which I did bring and makes for a good dorm toy, lots of fun multiplayer games. I did also bring my GBA, which I hardly ever think to use but when I do I really enjoy having it.

gameboy is convenient. Nothing beats pokemon and its frikken portable

if you’re into shooters, get a 360

if you’re into games that aren’t shooters, get a ps3

if you count the number of games you’ve played on your fingertips, get a wii

…there’s this thing out now called a DS, to all of you talking about GBA.

It’s pretty cool.

^Yeah, and waaay more expensive than a gba. Gen II pokemon superior anyways

I’ll probably never get a DS. I cannot justify the expense with how many other things I need to pay for at this stage in my life, if I am going to spend money on video games it’s going to be on something MUCH cooler than a DS, and I am too old for family to still spend gift money for me on video games-- I get tupperware and sweaters these days.

I actually would have brought my PS2 if my mother would have let me. NOBODY plays it but me but it’s “family property,” so I have to save up for my own before I can ever play any of those games again. I am going to steal the SNES and nintendo 64 if I have to, but otherwise all I have up at college with me is my wii and my GBA.

A top loading NES

You should most definitely get a 360!

If you have any sort of sense you will get a 360 and laugh at ps3 owners that get content and multiplatform games months after you :)

Case in point: every COD map pack lol

On a more serious note, unless you’re going to be buying blu ray discs (which i have never ever seen the point of), get a 360 it is better game wise and has a better selection of exclusive games. Although, you can get netflix on the 360 and stream infinite movies for like only 40 bucks which kicks blu ray out the window.
