I hate writing and it takes a lot of time. Which HASS-D has the least writing assignments? Thank you guys.

The ones that aren’t CI-H’s. But you need to take 2 CI-H classes anyway, and you need 3 HASS-D’s, so really you only get one low-writing HASS-D. Language classes don’t tend to have much writing, I think.

There are CI-H courses that are not HASS-D, so if for some reason it was only the combination of HASS-D/CI-H that repulsed you, all 3 HASS-D classes could be not CI-H.

Theoretically, a non-CI-H HASS-D would have less writing, but I find 21A.100 to have about as much as 21M.223 :P

Trying to decide between History of Ancient Rome, American Science:Ethical Conflicts, Mind and Machines, and Intro to Western Music. Any advice or info on difficulty, workload, professor, etc ?

If you have music background, Intro to Western is a snap. Barely any writing (you write small two-page papers on various pieces and concerts, but it’s really open-ended). The only downside is that there is a final, but it shouldn’t be that hard.

21M.301

No writing, just music exercises.

…they all technically have the same amount of writing, it’s mandated by the Institute.

You could always exercise the Level III/IV language option to get one HASS-D without traditional essay writing.
