Which is better UMICH, RPI, UCLA for computer/ electrical engineering? Thanks

I would say RPI.

What’s RPI?

^hahaha. UM, no question.

According to the USNWR undergraduate Engineering rankings.

COMPUTER ENGINEERING:
Michigan #8
RPI and UCLA not ranked among the top 15

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING:
Michigan #6
UCLA #19
RPI not ranked among the top 20

All three are good in Engineering, but Michigan does seem to have a slight advantage.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Good luck trying to spell it or pronounce it. I only know of it because it has Div 1 hockey. It is an engineering school in the Albany area.

Horseeagle, I’d go to Michigan over UCLA or RPI for ECE.

Umich > UCLA > RPI for intended majors.

Go to either UMich or UCLA, whichever is cheaper for you, they are both comparable academically and should give you the same level of opportunity.
